"... In June of 2011, Ryan was supplemented with the help of his first apprentice, Matija Triglav from Slovenia. Matija’s skills and dedication as an apprentice were a welcome addition to Bonsai Mirai, and his enthusiasm towards studying advanced design work allowed him to improve quickly. During his first week in the garden, Matija pointed out two trees which he found to be a level above the other material in the garden. One of the trees was Ryan’s twisty Rocky Mountain. For almost three months, Ryan and Matija discussed the tree’s design and possibilities. In the meantime, Ryan provided ample opportunities for Matija to practice the skills and fundamental concepts necessary to assist with the complicated task of styling such difficult material. Finally, as a reward for his hard work, two days before Matija was to return to Slovenia to finish up his secondary education, Ryan brought the two trees into the workshop." ...

dada... ovo su jako dobra drva i imaju specialno mesto u mom srcu. Baš mi je drago, da sam imao šanso radit na tih dvijeh. Kod Bakera dobro se vidi kako dobi prazan prostor između vrha i zadnje grane. bilo mi je nevjerovatno, da se može ukrivit grano od 2" za pola sata tako, da nitko ne primjeti, da je bilo bilo što pigano... luda iskustva
